Shifa is dedicated to fostering the next generation of Muslims with traditional Islamic knowledge, ingraining strong morals, values, and God consciousness in our students. We strive to instill a love for Allah (SWT) and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in every believer, offering traditional Islamic knowledge and community programs for spiritual growth. We are committed to the purification of the soul, fostering a welcoming environment for all knowledge seekers.
At Shifa, we aim to actively engage our next generation of youth and adults with traditional Islamic knowledge that inspires towards virtuous actions and character.
And we do so in a nurturing, Islamic environment that ingrains in our students strong morals, values, and God consciousness that is rooted in love and understanding of the Holy Qur’an, our Holy Prophet (s) and his pure Ahlul Bayt (AS).
Abu Huraira (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said:
“Verily, Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth, but rather He looks at your hearts and actions.” (Sahih Muslim 2564)
Aisha (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said:
Verily, the most complete of believers in faith are those with the best character and who are most kind to their families.
Our Mission
- To instill the love of Allah, exalted be He and the love of our beloved messenger Muhammad ﷺ in the hearts of every believer.
- To provide traditional Islamic knowledge rooted in devotion, and service by providing in-person or online studies and community programs.
- Purification of the souls through sincere Intention, beneficial knowledge, devotion, cleanings of the heart, and maintaining a high level of manners.
We do this to achieve religious and spiritual growth. We envision a space that is welcoming to all seekers of knowledge, a space where people of varying degrees of practice can assemble together.
Sahl al-Tustari (ra) used to say, ‘Among the signs of the love of the sunnah is the love of the hereafter, dislike of the world, and not indulging in anything except the sufficient provision for the Hereafter.’

- Strengthens the connection within the wider community to inspire confidence in their understanding of Islamic sciences.
- Invites communities to the Prophetic call to serve and bring long-lasting benefit to the ummah.
About QUL College
QUL stands for: Quest for Understanding and Living. And when we were thinking about what name to give this college, QUL stood out loud and clear as it linked back to the short and wise sayings of our Beloved Messenger ﷺ:
“qul amantu billah thumma istaqim”
“Say: I believe in Allah, then be steadfast.” (Reported by Muslim)
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said:
‘‘Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.’’
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger ﷺ, said:
Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near him. Sacred Links was founded to support your desire to travel the land of Allah in order to find:

- balance between the needs of the body and soul
- increased Islamic knowledge in a supportive and nurturing environment
The first official journey for Sacred Links is the performance of Umrah in April 2019 and December 2022, including visits to the sacred sites of:
- Madinah
- Makkah
- Amman and surrounding areas
- Jerusalem and surrounding areas
- Tarim ( Yemen)- TBA
