The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.”

“The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sends the most prayers upon me.”

WHAT IS A SALAWAT-A-THON:
It’s a pledge of sending praises and salutations upon the Best of Creation, Our Beloved Muhammad peace be upon him during the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal and beyond. Any salawat formula can be used e.g.
Allāhumma salli ‘alā Sayyidina Muhammad wa ‘ala ālih
QUL College students are fundraising in Rabi’ al-Awwal for very important causes:
*Education and feeding the needy in countries such as Yemen and other countries (international project)
Donations can be made in 2 different ways:
a) Pledge an amount
b) Sponsor an amount for every 1000, 2000, 3000+ etc. salawat
To participate, you can print the below document and keep count of your total salawat by using a tasbih counter. At the end of the month, contact your sponsors to update them on how many salawat you achieved.
